A bird’s eye view from The Lookout

Updated: Nov 1, 2022

Around the corner from the front office is our second floor suite, The Lookout. This suite takes up the entire top floor of our main building and has the most stellar ocean views (that also overlooks parrots on the telephone polls).

The Lookout is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom Penthouse suite with a full kitchen and a living room with a panoramic view of the waterfront. There’s a private entrance, which is located on the first floor. Directly outside the front door is our large private courtyard with all-weather table and chairs, an outdoor grill, six Adirondack chairs, a hammock, and two large umbrellas to provide shade while you lounge.

In the entrance, you’re greeted by the sunset painted stairs that lead you into the main hallway (see above). All rooms (except the bathroom) directly connect here.

At the long end of the hallway is the Living Room. This spacious room extends all the way across the front of the main hallway, so there’s plenty of room to gather. Seating includes an L-shaped sectional sofa with a queen-sized pullout mattress, an aquamarine twin sized daybed, and a retro hanging bubble chair. In front of the TV stand is a small coffee table, and to the left of the doorway there‘s a dresser for storage and extra tabletop space.

Immediately to the left of the main stairs is the Kitchen. The kitchen comes with a lot of built in storage, extra pantry space, with appliances including a stove and oven, microwave, a full sized refrigerator, and Keurig coffee machine. Dishes, glasses, utensils and pots and pans are provided inside the cabinets. We recommend swinging by the Treasure Island Publix on the way to pick up your vacation groceries or having them delivered via Instacart. (Click the link to check hours.)

The door to the left of the kitchen cupboards (not shown above) leads into the Jack and Jill style bathroom, with access from the bedroom or the kitchen. All of our bathrooms are outfitted with vanities or pedestal sinks and recently refinished shower stalls with rainfall shower heads.

Central to the bedroom is the King sized Acacia bed with built in side tables. The bed has a new hybrid mattresses (pillow top coil with memory foam) and all white, fresh clean bedding. There are both blinds and custom silk blackout curtains on the windows. On the left of the room is a vanity space and a beautiful curved 4-drawer dresser. On the right is a large mod console cabinet with a floor length LED mirror. At the end of the bed there’s a walk-in closet, a vintage faux fireplace, and a mounted TV with a swivel feature. It’s safe to say that this room is perfect for the overpacker! This is often the suite reserved by wedding parties for the newlyweds to share. There are A/C wall units in every room, overhead fans (in the bedroom and kitchen), and a portable standing fan (pictured in the Living Room photos).

Of course, one of our favorite features at The Lookout is its birds eye view of the entire property! The door to the left of the bedroom leads to a private terrace. Enjoy the views with a silicone glass in hand while seated on the patio furniture.

Thoughtfully placed throughout the property are various lawn games including Corn Hole, a giant Five in a Row set, a Ping Pong table, and a Shuffle Board. You can see them all from the top of the world!

We hope you enjoyed our informal tour of The Lookout and that it answered any questions you may have. If you'd like more information on the rates and availability, please click here.
